Justin Bieber has thrown his support behind a charity single in the bid to help you it snag the U.K. Christmas number 1, though he is its main competitor.

The Canadian Love yourself sheet music star happens to be leading the way to the end-of-year accolade in reference to his song Love Yourself, but after hearing how close the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS (National Health Service) Choir is usually to overtaking him which consists of track A Bridge Over You, Justin encouraged his fans that can help out.

The 21-year-old then shared a hyperlink to the choir’s website, where people can get the track.

“This ‘s what it’s all about,” he continued. “Merry Christmas”.

The choir is comprised of NHS staff from two boroughs inside the English capital, including doctors, physios, porters and nurses, along with the members are shocked at how tightly fought the battle for Christmas number 1 has become between them as well as the international pop star.

“I can’t believe we’re actually inside charts competing for # 1,” choir member Liz Steele told BBC Newsbeat on Tuesday (22Dec15).

“We’ve got pretty lots of competition so to maintain this position is amazing… anything can happen.”

At the very last count, the choir is simply 662 sales behind Justin, who happens to be holding on to your top spot with Love Yourself chords, and has now a further two tracks within the top 10.
